There must be the Principle [ LI 原則 (yuánlǐ) ] for any given thing, and this Includes Taiji and Qigong practice. " Li constitutes the Tao that is " above shapes " and is the source of which things are produced. Chi [ qi ] constitutes the " instruments" Chi that are " within shapes" ; it is the ( materiel ) means by which things are produced. " Things must have the LI before they can be produced. (See Collected writings of Chu Hsi). Our practice must contain this 原則 (yuánlǐ) that is within each movement and this presentation will introduce the Li of movement and mind intent necessary to return and maintain Flow. Please note: Due to a technical oversight, the cameras were not adjusted for the last 20 minutes of the presentation. While the audio remains available, the video shows an empty stage during this period. We apologize for any inconvenience.
