XinYi Snake Internal Alchemy

Zhongxian Wu

XinYi 心意, or Heart-Mind internal martial arts, holds its origins in the study of the Daoist Hidden Immortal Lineage. The principles of XinYi martial arts are the same as those of traditional Daoist Qigong (internal alchemy) practices. In Daoist tradition, the snake represent spiritual transformation, flexibility, and the ability to move through obstacles. In this workshop, we will learn LingDong 靈動, how to move your body in a spiritual way – the most essential aspect of all internal martial arts – through this Snake Form. The Snake also represent the Thunder God and the power to create new life energy and thus explore the relationship between the form, healing and inner transformation.
