Stillness is longed for - for many it is a peak goal of training. In truth, stillness is a mere point of demarcation. It is a place to begin deeper work – unfolding the deeper mysteries of cultivation and alchemy. In this presentation, we will find stillness as we restore the breath through alignment. This will include releasing tension and recalibrating muscles surrounding the perineal floor, waist, chest, and back. Once achieved, the breath will be rooted deeply in the lower Dantian while balanced throughout the torso. The mind will be quiet – perhaps not yet fully still, but the ripples on the pond will be significantly decreased. You will find yourself in a very tranquil state one of a light meditative state without trying. It will just be.
