This session will especially explore the relationship between traditional Chinese systems of certification and more contemporary approaches in China today and internationally as Qigong and Tai Chi penetrate societies around the world. Roger Jahnke with his 30 plus year of clinical Chinese Medicine, 9 research trips to China and experience with practice, teaching and training will explore the Mind-Body Practice Field – Qigong, Tai Chi, Qi Healing — with a focus on the power of the practice, the opportunity in the profession, the health and cost benefits to major populations, the realm of professional training and certification of teachers/instructors.
Roger Jahnke is the Co-founder and former Chair of the National Qigong Association, he is also the founder and Director of the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi (IIQTC) which has trained nearly 500 Qigong and Tai Chi Teachers as well as nearly 1000 Practice Leaders.
